More Patents Translate into Satisfied Customers for Triangle Tire

A big reason Triangle OTR, TBR and consumer tires have received 5-star reviews in the US and around the world is the company’s unflagging commitment to innovation.

Case in point — In 2024, Triangle Tire achieved remarkable results in technological innovation, with the number of new patents reaching 151, including nine invention patents, 113 utility model patents and 29 appearance patents.

These nine inventions cover commercial vehicle tires, aviation radial tires and special tires, involving equipment, technology, processes, materials and many other fields, demonstrating Triangle Tire’s product development and manufacturing capabilities. For example, the patent for radial aviation tires uses a new cord technology solution to further improve the safety factor of the tire body and the durability of the tire.

Over the years, Triangle Tire has been adhering to the concept of innovation-driven development and has continued to move forward on the road of technological innovation. Up to now, the company has a total of 793 valid patents, including 751 domestic patents and 42 foreign patents.

In the future, Triangle Tire will unswervingly focus on continued development of core areas. In terms of product R&D technology, it will continue to increase R&D investment, gather top talents, actively explore new materials, new processes and new technologies. The company will strive to improve the performance, safety and environmental protection of its tires, thus creating a more competitive product series to meet the increasingly diverse and demanding needs of different customer groups.

This commitment to innovation delivers real-world results for Triangle customers. The TB577A (E-4) OTR radial, for instance, features an Innovative cooling unit design to reduce heat generation while working long hours on construction, aggregates and mining sites – heat is the #1 enemy of tires; or the TB599A (E-4) OTR radial featuring a specific compound for exceptional low heat generation in severe mining and quarry environments.

Triangle has become one of the world’s leading tiremakers due to its long-term commitment to R&D. More patents in the near-term translate into more satisfied Triangle customers down the road.
